How did we meet?
Have you ever heard of plentyoffish.com? You know, it's that dating website that is FREE and you just know since it was FREE that you will never meet anyone on there worth marrying or much less dating, right?
Well...wrong! :o) This is where River and I met. Now I'm not even sure why I initially joined because the last thing I wanted to do was meet a man at that time in my life. I got a few messages on the site, but never replied. No one seemed interesting and we know that if there is no picture attached in the profile that we aren't going to bother reading the profile. Come on, ya'll know I'm not alone in thinking this way you guys!
So, one day I get this message from this guy River. I check the message and then go right to the profile and look at that...NO photo attached. I thought for a minute, but then decided for some reason to reply to his message. We messaged back and forth for a few days. Then we started messaging on google talk. After about two weeks he asked me out on a date. We had our first date Dec. 11, 2009. Since that first date, River and I have been almost inseprerable. I can honestly say that we are not only soon to be husband and wife, but we are also best friends. :o)
